Overview
Garage Floor Coatings
A good garage floor starts long before the coating goes on. Old concrete can be stained, cracked, pitted or sealed with a surface that coatings will not stick to. We grind it, repair what needs repairing and only then install the system.
Most garage floors get a full-flake system: a resin base coat, decorative flake broadcast into it, and a clear topcoat to seal everything in. We will talk through epoxy vs. polyaspartic and the flake blend options when we look at your floor.

Benefits
Why it matters
Built to last
Resinous coatings are made to stand up to tires, chemicals and everyday abrasion, when the concrete underneath is prepared properly.
Safer, cleaner look
Full-flake blends hide dirt and add texture. Slip-resistant options are available.
Your colors
Pick a flake blend to suit your garage, your house or your shop.
Prep done right

FAQ
Garage Floor Coatings questions
What types of garage floor coatings do you offer?
We install epoxy, polyaspartic and decorative full-flake systems. During your estimate we will help you choose based on how the garage is used, the look you want and the condition of the concrete.
How does surface prep affect how long the coating lasts?
Prep is the biggest factor. A coating can only be as strong as its bond to the concrete, so we grind the surface and repair cracks and pitting before anything is applied.
Can you deal with moisture before coating?
Yes. We check for moisture and, when needed, use a moisture mitigation system before the coating goes down. See our moisture mitigation page.
Do you install cove base or other accessories?
Ask us when you request an estimate and we will tell you what is possible for your space.
Are the floors slip-resistant?
Flake blends add texture, and additional slip-resistant options are available. Tell us if your floor will see water, snow melt or ice.
